Leaping down from the cliff´s ledge like a hulking wild beast, he landed heavily in the spraying snow.

Casting his head back, the barbarian let out a savage, ululating cry as he brandished his two-handed axe over his head, pumping his arms up and down.

After noticing a certain lack of shrieking and scrambling panic, he lowered his weapon and faced his ambushed prey.

“You finished?”, asked the smaller man. “I could smell you from at least fifty paces away.”

“Also,” continued the previously mentioned prey confidently, “you didn't cover your tracks well enough back where the trails split.”

The barbarian chuckled and grinned.

“Little man did good! Bilik has very sharp eyes!”, he taunted gleefully.

“But those tracks …”

A shadow loomed up behind the smaller man.

“... not my tracks!”
